About
Cam Richardson
At a NAPA Racing UK track day in 2022, Cam Richardson got the opportunity to take a lap of Silverstone in one of the team’s touring cars instantly showing natural pace and raw talent.
Despite only having a background in karting and sim racing, the opportunity opened the door to his first season of professional racing in 2023, joining the MINI CHALLENGE Trophy grid with NAPA Racing UK.
After a standout 2024 season in the all-new JCW Sport class, Cam now steps up to the full JCW category for 2025.

The MINI CHALLENGE began in 2002 and has run as a support package to the British Touring Car Championship since 2020
The MINI CHALLENGE Trophy often provides the perfect place to begin a motorsport career. The entry level Cooper Class uses a 130bhp 1.6 litre normally aspirate engine, six-speed manual gearbox and Goodyear slick and wet tyres, limited to two new tyres per race meeting.
The championship will consist of 7 dates throughout the season, three of those will make appearances on the BTCC TOCA package.
A further two events will be as the British Truck Racing Championship.
All rounds will either be shown on ITV4 or streamed via social media platform.
